What our Guests Said!

October 2011

We have all had a brilliant stay at Seafield Cottage. The Lounge/Dining were perfect for our stay with a lovely open fire. So warm and cosy with lots of books to read and a good variety of DVD's and board games if the weather is dull. Thank you Seafield Cottage!

Many thanks for providing us with such a comfortable cottage in a superb location. Our disabled client enjoyed the accommodation and local facilities immensely. The ramp access to the front door was great. We hope to return at some point in the future.

April 2011

My favourite part when staying at Seafield Cottage near Benderloch was when we went to the Scottish Sealife Sanctuary and the Seafari Adventures in Oban and we got to see a real seal in the wild near the Pierhouse in Port Appin. Louise Healey - aged 6. Other favourites were cycling on Lismore (which was recommended by Dee and Robert) and watching an otter catching a fish near the PierHouse in Port Appin. Great sea food at the Pier House! We toured around the Easdale area and Appin and Castle Stalker. Seafield Cottage is so well placed in its lovely coastal location with a lovely garden. We hope to come back and walk in Glencoe.

A great holiday! We recommend eating the best seafood on the west coast of Scotland at the Pier House in Port Appin. It is only 15 minutes drive from the Cottage. The Scottish Sealife Sanctuary is nearby and if you have any kids it is a wonderful place to take them. Another wonderful day out is the SeaFari from Oban which takes you down the coast on a thrilling sea adventure. Barcaldine Castle is close by too and there are wonderful walks to be had on Tralee Beach about five minutes away by car.

We had a wonderful holiday in your lovely Cottage. Facilities are very good and the house is really warm for the colder days which we appreciated. Excellent base for places to visit and for walking, such as Port Appin and further afield such as Mull and Iona, Glenure (the lost valley), Ben Nevis and Aonach Mhor (especially the Steall Falls).

Dear Deirdre and Robert. Thank you very much for a lovely stay in your home. We found it very inviting, warm and comfortable. You have a beautiful and well kept home. We have very much enjoyed our stay and the beautiful sights of Oban and the surrounding area. We will be back next October.
Thank you again, Chris, Amy, Finley (5), Kacey (1) & Jamie (3 months) Thomson xxxx

August 2010

We enjoyed our stay very much. The House and the Garden are very beautiful with lovely views to Loch Creran. We found everything we needed - even the weather was excellent! Thank you very much. We wish we could have stayed longer, but hope to come back!
